Their journey began in 2018 where Linsey and McKenzie met in the charming city of Charleston, SC. During this time, their spouses, as well as McKenzie, were stationed there on military orders. McKenzie finished her time in the Navy in 2021 and by a twist of fate, both of their spouses ended up receiving orders to Kings Bay, GA for the very same day. Linsey and McKenzie, now both navigating life's uncertainties as military spouses, discovered an unbreakable bond that transcended the challenges they faced. As they settled into this new chapter of their lives, Linsey found herself at a crossroads. With unwavering determination and a leap of faith, she transformed her role from a dedicated pillar of support for her family into the driving force behind a budding business. Through unprecedented hard work, Linsey started BGE Financial Consulting. Linsey's bold step inspired McKenzie, and she was eager to support her friend's vision. What was supposed to be a part-time job, ended up igniting a shared spark of entrepreneurship. Recognizing the potential within their combined strengths, they embarked on a collaborative journey to run the business together.
